Creating a New Environment

Overview

On the New Environment page, users can create a new environment by completing three steps: entering environment details, creating environment accounts, and configuring the network. Users will need to provide a code, name, and description for the environment.

Usage:

Follow these steps to create a new environment:

  1. Enter the code, name, and description for the environment.
  2. Click "Next" to proceed to the next step. To return to the previous step, click "Prev."
  3. Create environment accounts on the next step.
  4. Configure network details on the final step.
  5. Click "Next" to continue.

Creating Environment Accounts

The Accounts page contains a form where users can enter a Company, Customer Account, Billing Account, and Organization for the environment. Each field offers suggestions users can select from a drop-down list. Follow these instructions to use the page:

  1. Type letters in the Company field to search for the desired company.
  2. Select the desired company from the dropdown list.
  3. Repeat step 1 and 2 for the Customer Account, Billing Account, and Organization fields to select desired items.
  4. After selecting all the desired items, click "Next" to continue.

Configuring Network

The edit form for creating or editing an environment configuration has a field where the user needs to specify the type of firewall for the environment. The required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).

Follow these steps to use the form:

  1. Go to the "Firewall Type" field.
  2. Begin typing the name of the firewall type.
  3. Choose from the dropdown suggestions that appear.
  4. Make sure to fill out all required fields.
